Service Advisor
Now Hiring – Automotive Service Advisor
As a service advisor you will work alongside our customers, service technicians and dispatcher. You will inform customers of work needed/recommended and schedule service work in our service department. This will be a full-time salaried position that does not require any prior experience.

Core Responsibilities
• You will provide a welcoming environment for our customers, record the mileage of their vehicles, and test-driving vehicles to evaluate their current service needs, if applicable.
• You will recommend additional services as indicated in their service history or vehicle inspection, and counselling customers on the benefits of maintaining their vehicle(s) in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
• You will be preparing detailed repair orders, with estimates for parts and labor, and obtaining the customer’s signature.
• You will be scheduling service appointments, preparing service orders by retrieving the owner’s vehicle history in advance of their arrival, and fielding phone inquiries about their service.
• You will be coordinating with the dispatcher to determine the completion of their service appointment.
• You will oversee the repair progress and notify the customer of any changes. You will receive prior authorization from the customer before performing additional repairs.
• You will ensure customer vehicles are secured and parked in the proper location, with their keys labeled and locked in a separate location.
• You will ensure that the repair order itemized all work, including any additional authorized work, and close or adjust orders as appropriate.
• You will evaluate vehicles for any paint and body damage and provide an estimate where applicable.
• You will discuss all work completed and any associated charges with the customer.
• You will ensure all pricing information and all forms are kept current.
• You will maintain our high-quality standards to eliminate revisits and maximize our customer’s satisfaction.
In addition, our service advisors need:
• To possess basic math skills.
• To be capable of speaking with customers or employees; reading/understanding manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety regulations; and writing reports and other correspondence.
• To be professional and courteous in attitude, wardrobe, and grooming.
• To keep their work area clean and orderly.
• To complete any other duties as assigned to them.
• To possess a valid Driver’s License
